We deliberately chose this caliber over more economical alternatives like the Miyota 8215 or 9133 because we believe excellence should be felt in every second.
Compared to these common Japanese movements, the ETA 2824-2 operates at a higher frequency (28,800 vph vs. 21,600 vph), enabling a smoother second-hand sweep. It also features a hacking function and bidirectional winding—refinements often absent in lower-cost calibers. Built with tighter tolerances and Swiss engineering, it offers greater long-term reliability and accuracy.
